Menu Planning

Even though it's not really a resolution, I plan to get better this year about my menu planning.
I've always been pretty good about planning dinners through out the week but lately I've been slipping and Italia now knows Matt on a first name basis - so much so that the delivery guy even brings a black pen for him b/c he won't sign the credit card slip in blue.

We need to make a change to say the least.

So my plan involves a magnetic calendar and a list.  Of course a list, I am Sue's daughter.... list maker extraordinaire.

Normally, I try to plan one week at a time.  I'm hoping this calendar will keep me better organized so I can get 2 weeks planned.
Maybe I'll even be able to start shopping sales - what?  I'm never that organized...Never.

Wish me luck - I'll let you know how it goes.

  1. I do the same thing, only I'm much nerdier, so i use the spreadsheet in Google docs. That way, David can check to see what's for dinner when he's a work.

Of course, we usually end up doing take-out, anyway. They say the road to hell is paved with good intentions. I guess that's where you'll find me.

  2. I'll see you there but it won't be for menu planning skills. I'm sure there are plenty of other good reasons!
